I bought new water bottles for my family. Now every morning when I fill them I think about us and how we go off to different places to live the best part of our day, but tomorrow I will again be filling these water bottles up and wondering how it could be different.

“You Know, I feel so strongly that deep and simple is far more essential than shallow and complex. In the end, life isn’t about material things. It’s about the relationships you have with one another and yourself.”
-Fred Rogers
Today is the 143rd day of the year. 143 was Mister Rogers’ favorite number. It counted out the letters in “I love you”: 1,4,3. One hundred forty three was also his weight throughout most of his life and I am sure he found that number meaningful in other ways as well. I am thankful for Mister Rogers. I can recall reaching out to touch the glass on the television. “Could he see me?”, I thought. It sure seemed like he was talking directly to me and making me feel like I was somebody who was worthwhile.
I am ever so thankful for Fred and he pops into my head one way or another on most every day of my life.
